IE Venture Network is an event sponsored by Heineken that takes place every week at IE Business school. The idea is to give entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their business ideas to an esteemed panel of judges and gain valuable feedback to improve their businesses.
As director of Communications and Operations, it is my responsibility to manage the social media strategy as well as the internal and external relationships with the Entrepreneurial community. Furthermore, I take part in the strategic decision process for the event as well as aid in selecting the projects being showcased.

Export Development Canada (EDC) is Canada's export credit agency, offering innovative financing, insurance and risk management solutions to help Canadian exporters and investors expand their international business.
This position required extensive knowledge of the financial services industry as well as a solid grasp of international trade and exporting practices. As a Business Development Associate, it was my responsibility was to seek out opportunity and identify trends in the Forestry, Fisheries and Agricultural sectors for Canadian exporters looking to expand their operations internationally.
This was done through attending industry related trade shows, creating market research reports and liaising internally and with various external stakeholders including the Canadian Government, International organizations ( WTO, EX-IM Bank etc.), Canadian and Foreign financial institutions and Canadian companies of all sizes.

Canadian Representative at G20 Youth Summit


March 2012 - Present (2 months)
Selected amongst hundreds of Canadians to represent Canada at the youth G20 summit in Puebla, Mexico. Seven youth from every G20 nation in the world will get together to network, negotiate and develop viable solutions to existing issues plaguing youth globally. A document will be drafted collectively and presented to all leaders of the G20 nations in June.
