My name is Kyle Fiore and I am a Master in Corporate Communication student at the IE school of Communication ( Instituto de Empresa) in Madrid, Spain.
The purpose of this post is in regards to my recent selection amongst hundreds as one of 7 youth delegates for Canada’s Youth G20 team, wherein by I will be traveling to Puebla, Mexico to join the other nineteen youth teams. In order to represent Ontario and Canada at this forum, I am seeking out funding from individuals and organizations such as yours. Each of the seven delegates from Canada is required to raise $3,500.The purpose of the G20-Y20 delegation is to give youth from all of the twenty nations the chance to address the three mandates currently being discussed by the G20. The three pillars of the G20 are as follows:
1. Policy coordination between its members in order to achieve global economic stability and sustainable growth;
2. To promote financial regulations that reduce risks and prevent future financial crises; and
3. To create a new international financial architecture.
Throughout this experience, we will formalize a draft of our recommendations and opinions on the G20’s portfolio of issues, and forward this on to the council at their meeting held in June 18-19, 2012. In preparation for our tour we are developing profiles of each country, briefing each other on G20 issues, and conducting meetings with members of DFAIT to ensure that we will be the best team at the summit.
It is a great honour to represent Canada at events such as the G20 summit. Your financial contribution to Team Canada would be tax deductable and I personally would ensure that your brand would be a distinctive addition to this event.
In order to make donations, you may do so directly on my Chipin account (Post above)
